Baltimore Pizza

Are you tired of spending a fortune on pizza in this area? People talk a lot around here about how great the pizza is. But as someone who lived away from here until very recently, it seems to me that the main thing that should be said about the pizza here is that it is much more expensive than pizza in most other places including cities known for the quality of their pizza like New York City, New Haven and Boston. As a result, we rarely go out for pizza. Instead, we have been buying pizzas from Harris Teeter grocery store where they make pizzas as good as most restaurant pizzas which one can purchase for eight dollars on Mondays and $12 rest of the week. These pizzas come with whatever and how many toppings you want. These toppings are included in the price cited above.

We have gone out for pizza three times in the 2 years since we moved here and none of them seemed particularly good to me. We got one of them from Verde which was pretty good but nothing to write home about, and one from Joe Benny’s which has since closed. Joe Benny’s was routinely sited as the best pizza in Baltimore before it closed. In a town that is really a good pizza town the most well-known pizza parlor would not be closing down.

Don’t waste your time and money on mediocre pizza. Give Harris Teeter’s pizzas a try and taste the difference for yourself. With their quality ingredients and affordable prices, you won’t be disappointed.
